Cotonou

Administrative seat of both the department Littoral and the commune Cotonou. It is the economic capital of Benin and the largest city in the country.

    Excellent food, my favorite restaurant in Cotonou. Nice ambience and great people - get an outdoor table if you can. The Pavé du Diable is great, and the spinach and goat cheese pizza is a world apart. Only con: they don't serve La Beninoise (but they do carry Beaufort, though, which is good enough).
